Rave parties, wood-burning stoves and playing music for Vietnam soldiers in Germany

Ali Kedge is on a mission to change the perception of the bus pass generation. Using her pass, she travels across Wales to chat sex, drugs & rock ‘n’ roll with fellow pass holders.

When Ali Kedge turned 60, she got her bus pass - the golden ticket to free travel throughout Wales. Owning a bus pass makes her a Buskateer and she is traveling across Wales to meet up with other Buskateers, ordinary people who did extraordinary things back in the day - all without mobile phones, internet or Sat Nav. They were, and still are, frontier people.

This week Ali catches up with Nina, Keith and Mick to chat about 1990’s rave culture, a journey from hippy to businessman and what it was like playing music for Vietnam war vets in Germany.
