James Morrison - award-winning singer songwriter - performs live at Maida Vale for Radio 2's Piano Room Month accompanied by the 大象传媒 Concert Orchestra. PopMaster is at 10.30.

James Morrison - award-winning singer songwriter - performs live at Maida Vale for Radio 2's Piano Room Month accompanied by the 大象传媒 Concert Orchestra. Born in Rugby, James is the latest artist to join the station's biggest celebration of live music in a decade with 20 of pop's best-loved artists performing live at 11.30 am each day throughout February. Other artists include Jamie Cullum, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sande and many more.

James achieved worldwide success with his top 5 single 'You Give Me Something' and his 2006 debut album 'Undiscovered' topped the UK Albums chart on its first week of release selling over 1 million copies around the world.

He's has just released a Greatest Hits Album which recalls many of the landmark moments in his career. There are also new versions of all five of his Top 10 singles, his number 1 albums plus a brand new single 'Who's Gonna Love Me Now'.

James' 'Greatest Hits Tour' starts in March and culminates at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on 10th April. He is also due to co-headline Kew The Music with Will Young and perform as special guest to Westlife at Wembley Stadium later in the year.

In addition to all the live broadcasts, an hour-long special will be broadcast on Radio 2 each Sunday from 7pm until 8pm featuring highlights from the previous week's performances.

Radio 2 delivered live music to listeners throughout the lockdown with House Music sessions - launched in 2020 - featuring some of the biggest names in music, including Rag N Bone Man, Jessie Ware, Barry Manilow, Melanie C, Cliff Richard, Ronan Keating, Travis, Aloe Blacc and Nell Bryden, with many accompanied remotely by the 大象传媒 Concert Orchestra.
