Created to foster relations between the Italian and French sailing communities following World War II, the Rolex Giraglia has developed into a historic and revered event in the Mediterranean yachting calendar. A world class fleet will gather in the chic harbour of Saint-Tropez for three days of inshore competition before embarking on an offshore race of just over 200 nautical miles, via the Giraglia, a rocky outcrop off the northern tip of Corsica, to the finish port of Genoa. Throughout its history the event has been defined by its camaraderie and team spirit.
