On today鈥檚 show, they mark National Album Day and chat to Dexys Midnight Runners鈥� lead singer Kevin Rowland about the newly mixed edition of their classic album 鈥楾oo Rye Ay鈥�, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

The album, originally released in 1982, was the band鈥檚 most successful, despite them never being happy with the final mix. It included the hit single 鈥楥ome On Eileen鈥�, for which the band is best known. The new version, called 鈥楾oo Rye Ay As It Should Have Sounded鈥�, has been re-worked with the help of Helen O鈥橦ara and Pete Schwier to mark it's 40th anniversary.

Also on the show... long-running feature 鈥楾he Chain鈥� which gives listeners the chance to pick a track that links in some way to the last. The list now contains over 8000 songs.
