Penny Gore introduces a performance of Tchaikovsky鈥檚 Violin Concerto by Janine Jansen plus Medieval music from Ensemble Celadon and pieces by Foulds, Bellini, Schein & Rachmaninov
Penny Gore continues her week of Afternoon Concert with a performance of Tchaikovsky鈥檚 Violin Concerto from Janine Jansen in Munich. There are Medieval pieces from Ensemble Celadon and choral music by Schutz and Schein from the Leipzig Cantorey every day this week, and of course regular contributions from the 大象传媒 performing groups. Today, there鈥檚 also music by Foulds, Lysenko, Bellini, Schoenberg and Gershwin, plus a performance of Rachmaninov鈥檚 Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini by Kirill Gerstein.
