Here Orna Merchant attempts to find out through the people who have met him down the years. From the well known to the not so well known, everyone has a unique story to tell about the impact meeting King Charles, formerly the longest serving Prince of Wales in history, has had on their lives.
Among those contributing Hollywood actor Luke Evans, Spice Girl Mel B, Coronation Street and EastEnders stars, film composer Nigel Hess and Holocaust survivor Lily Ebert.
This programme reveals his passions, empathy with his people and a great sense of humour.
