It's the 16th annual #TShirtDay and once again 大象传媒 Radio 6 Music invites listeners to dig out your most treasured band tee, whether old or new, and wear your love for your favourite band or artist on your chest! From 7am-7pm we will be taking requests, playing music exclusively via Requests from your Chests. We are throwing out the planned playlist for the day and will play nothing but music by the artists who appear on your tees. Get in touch and send your T Shirt images via #TShirtDay.
Frustrated by the growing trend of celebrities trying to buy themselves some cool points by wearing a Ramones or Nirvana t-shirt, and conscious that lots of us had these t-shirts at home 鈥� we decided on a day 鈥� a day we could all share the musical memories that are woven into the fabric of the t-shirts we鈥檇 bought at the time.
