Vernon Kay welcomes to the studio for the second time this year Elbow frontman and 6 Music Presenter鈥uy Garvey. Earlier this year in 鈥淭he Piano Room鈥� Elbow gave us their performance of 鈥淟over鈥檚 Leap鈥� their first single from their latest album - plus a memorable cover of Louis Armstrong鈥檚 鈥淲e Have All The Time In The World鈥�.
But today Guy will take us on his musical journey in this week鈥檚 Tracks Of My Years, omnibus episode.

After two and a half decades in the industry, Guy Garvey and Elbow have just released their tenth studio album 鈥淎udio Vertigo鈥� and during those 25 years they鈥檝e garnered a host of awards, including a BRIT, a Mercury prize, and multiple Ivor Novello songwriting awards.

They performed at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony and Guy will share with us why he was so popular backstage at that event! Elbow have been granted the freedom of their hometown of Bury and have played Glastonbury around 10 times and according to Guy, with at least four of those appearances on the coveted Pyramid Stage.

Beginning in Brighton on Tuesday 7th May, Elbow will embark on a UK arena tour, their first since 2018.
