This week, there鈥檚 a Nordic flavour to the programme, with featured venues, performers and composers from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Today, Finnish conductor Mikko Franck leads the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra in Sibelius鈥� ground-breaking Symphony No. 2. There鈥檚 also Haydn and Mozart from Icelandic pianist Vikingur 脫lafsson, Nielsen鈥檚 Clarinet Concerto with soloist Jo毛 Christophe, and Chopin from Norwegian pianist Christian Ihle Hadland.
You can also hear another of Vivaldi鈥檚 Four Seasons performed by recorder-player Erik Bosgraaf and the Wroclaw Baroque Orchestra, recorded at last year鈥檚 London International Festival for Early Music.
