In 2001, The Strokes changed the guitar music landscape, blending the sound of 60s garage rock with the precision of bands like Television and their sparkling debut album Is This It ushered in a new, albeit retro, aesthetic which dominated indie music for years. By the time they released their 3rd album in 2006, they were one of the biggest bands in the world. That year they played a blistering set at the Oxegen festival in Ireland featuring 鈥淟ast Nite鈥�, 鈥淩eptilia鈥� and 鈥淪omeday鈥�.
