One day, while walking through Water 7, Luffy and Chopper meet Abi, a girl looking for Aobire, her pet Yagara that has been missing since the Aqua Laguna. She asks Luffy and Chopper to help her look for him, and they find out that he went into an underground waterway beneath the town on the night of the Aqua Laguna. There, they see Aobire's spirit and find an abandoned baby Yagara that he was trying to help. Although Abi is devastated over Aobire's death, she takes in the baby Yagara and is happy that she could honor her beloved pet's last wish.
