In Gyoncorde Plaza, Madame Shyarly tells Hody that in her prediction, it is not him but Luffy who will destroy Fishman Island and thus Hody will not be its ruler. The angered Hody attacks Shyarly and then makes a shocking confession. It was Hody who killed Otohime ten years ago and made it look like a human did it in order to re-incite the fishmen鈥檚 hatred toward humans. Also shockingly, Shirahoshi admits to knowing this.
