Luffy and his group are attacked by Brownbeard and his centaurs, and their boat gets sunk. In addition to Luffy and Robin not being able to swim, they are attacked by sharks.

In addition to Luffy and Robin not being able to swim, they are attacked by sharks since the lake is technically a sea. Brook shows up just in time to save them, and the Straw Hats fight back. Right before he is defeated, Brownbeard realizes who Luffy is. Meanwhile, Law attacks the Marines with his Devil Fruit powers. He also uses his powers on Nami, Franky, Sanji, and Chopper, whose minds and voices are swapped into one another's body. Law also slices up the Marines' warship and steals their Transponder Snails so that they cannot report what they've seen on the island. Smoker instructs his men to get out of the circle, the space Law created with his Devil Fruit power, but Tashigi charges at Law and gets sliced in half.
