Ten years ago, when Dressrosa is attacked by Doflamingo, Kyros rushes to the palace. He finds Riku captured by Doflamingo but is ambushed and restrained in Sea Prism Stone shackles. He cuts off his left leg to free himself, but Sugar turns him into a toy (Thunder Soldier). He manages to rescue Riku nonetheless, but Sugar鈥檚 power has made Riku, as well as everybody in Dressrosa, lose memory of Kyros. A couple days later, Thunder Soldier sees Scarlett being murdered by Diamante, leaving him to care for their daughter, Rebecca. In the underground trade port, Usopp is badly beaten by Trebol, and Sugar makes him eat the tatababasco-laced grape. The hottest spice in the world makes Usopp shoot out flames from his mouth, startling Sugar unconscious.
