Whether you鈥檙e celebrating with family or spending the time on your own, your host, Petroc Trelawny, has assembled the perfect selection of festive guests to brighten and enliven your morning with great music and heart-warming moments.
Live music includes carols from members of Holy Trinity, Sloane Square choir, pianist Alexandra Dariescu offers new discoveries and rarely-heard seasonal music by composers including Imogen Holst, Cecile Chaminade and Tchaikovsky, and jazzer Charlie Pyne sprinkles a bit of tinsel and glitter on Christmas standards.
There will also be classical favourites, music that celebrates the Christmas from across the UK, and listeners will be able to message the show to request seasonal music of their choice for Christmas morning.
