Offering laughs and musical merriment, Variety Bandbox started life at the end of the Second World War broadcasting on 大象传媒 General Forces and later transferred to the Light Programme running until 1952. It launched a number of stars.

In this episode, there's ragtime with Jerry Allen on the organ and Barbara Leigh sings Some Day My Heart will Awake.
