Monty and the team celebrate the joy of gardening by looking back at some of their most memorable seasonal highlights.

Monty shows the transformation that his cottage garden has undergone over the past year, while Frances Tophill is at Newby Hall in North Yorkshire, a place where candelabra primulas light up the garden in a dazzling display of colour.

Toby Buckland visits the world-famous double herbaceous borders at Arley Hall in Cheshire, thought to be the first of their kind ever planted in England, and Arit Anderson visits Charleston in East Sussex, a garden steeped in history with a very colourful backstory.

A grower in East Grinstead shares his dedication to crafting miniature masterpieces through the intricate art of bonsai, while a couple in Bourne tell the story of their lifelong journey spent cultivating and hybridising thousands of cacti.
