Toby Hadoke chats to the fantasy author and entrepreneur Sir Ian Livingstone.
Sir Ian is the co-founder of the Games Workshop, and helped bring the game Dungeons and Dragons to the UK.
He’s a successful fantasy writer, having co-created the Fighting Fantasy choose your own adventure series, and has also worked in video games, launching titles like Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Hitman when he was chairman of Eidos PLC.
Toby speaks to Sir Ian about his extensive career and asks about his influences and his love of 'the power of play'. We'll hear about how Games Workshop began out of a tiny flat, what it was like working in the early period of video games, and how he's hoping generations going forward can benefit from learning in different ways.
