Tim Wedgwood
Tim Wedgwood’s backstamp says Made in England. Born in Staffordshire, he’s lived and worked in the Potteries for most of his life.
As the name might suggest he is related to the famous Wedgwood pottery family.
He spent his early years in Cornwall after moving there aged four but came back often to see family and then to study at Staffordshire University.
He presented the youth magazine show Mix FM for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Stoke in the 90’s before hosting Breakfast and Drivetime at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Nottingham.
In 2001 he came back to his roots to present ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Stoke’s Breakfast Show. He was also the ´óÏó´«Ã½â€™s south Cheshire correspondent for a time.
Now you can hear him on the Sunday Breakfast programme where he explores the world around us in Staffordshire and Cheshire through a faith & ethics lens. On top of that he looks after our short films on our Facebook page.
You can contact Tim on Sunday Breakfast by calling 0800 121 8080 or by texting 81333 (starting your message with the word STOKE. Standard network charges apply).
And you will often find him hosting various concerts and charity events locally – for example, with the Daleian Singers, Porthill Players or hosting the Stafford Christmas lights switch-on. He also produces our big Carols for Christmas event with the North Staffs Symphony Orchestra, Ceramic City Choir and a multitude of professional performers.
He has two children, Mollie and Samuel, and lives on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border.
