About James Bond
James is a big fan of all things sporting in Shropshire.
A former local football referee, James Bond has taken some stick about his name over the years.
He even ran the line once for a Shrewsbury Town reserve game against Tranmere at the Gay Meadow.
James cut his sporting teeth on the Hartlepool Evening Mail - whisper it, he is still a supporter of Hartlepool United.
His career to date has seen him cover the Olympics in Barcelona, the Commonwealth Games in Victoria, as well as treading the hallowed turf of Wembley with Telford United.
