The World's Shortest Plays
Theatre goers and literature lovers in Serbia have recently been reading a small Serbian gem, an anthology called 'Short, Shorter, Shortest Plays in the World'. This little book has been put together by Jovan Cirilov, Serbia's great dramatist and author. This compilation of 55 plays has been selected from his own library built up during 43 years of globetrotting as the Director of Bitef, the Belgrade International Theatre Festival. Snezana Curcic reports on the art of the short play.

Daby Toure (pictured above)
