Cheetah hunt
A cheetah mother has to raise her cubs on her own. When she leaves to begin hunting they will follow her, but when the chase is on, they know to keep quiet and out of sight. Unless a cheetah is within 30 yards of an impala it can outrun her, so she must get as close as possible if she is to be successful. At a flat out run her feet only touch the ground for half of the time - her spine is so flexible that her back feet can reach forward to touch the ground either side of her front feet.
