Wales

Bill Oddie visits Wales in midsummer and sees dippers, little terns, house martins and shearwaters. There are spectacular close-up views of red kites on a farm.

It is early June, and Bill Oddie makes a return trip to Wales, a place he first visited as a teenage birder. There are spectacular close-up views of red kites on a farm, and he watches the antics of the dipper. In mid July, Bill comes back to Wales to see some more breeding birds, little terns and a spectacular seabird colony. Finally he is off to Skomer Island to see Manx shearwaters in the dark.
