Barmy, balmy night

Bill Oddie heads for the beach on a calm, balmy night, to see some strange goings on. He's here to see common toads among the seaweed. They are not here to swim, but to eat. They need to feed up because from November to about May they don't eat at all. On the beach are lots of insects and other invertebrates for them to hunt. Toads are vulnerable during the day - it's safer to come out at night and on a really warm warm, hundreds and hundreds of toads will come to this beach.
