Squirrel country
This spread out woodland is beginning to look like red squirrel country, as there are more branches lower down, so the squirrels don鈥檛 have to drop down from such a great height. There are pine seeds drifting down, so somewhere up there are squirrels. A red squirrel comes into view, nibbling on a nice fat pine cone. It will take a while to get at all the seeds, so up it goes to a nice cosy branch. It gets a good grip on the pine cone - lovely little fingers that hold it - they鈥檙e so delicate. It nibbles away until it gets at the pine seeds. It鈥檚 rather special to see them out here where they belong.
