Fri 25th June Wiltshire's fields of red poppies.

Morning music and chat.

Have you spotted any red fields of poppies around Wiltshire? There is a stunning field as you come out of Marlborough on the A346 past Ogbourne St Andrew. This morning Matthew spoke to farmer Godfrey Maundell who owns the land, and apparently they are not supposed to be there and are damaging his crop of oil seed rape. Listeners also told us there are other fields of red poppies at Upavon and Rushall.

Also this morning:

As authorities worry that there could be an increase in domestic abuse if England go out of the World Cup, one man spoke to us about how he was violent towards his wife. If you have been affected by this issue click below to go the main Matthew Smith site and then onto today's programme details.

And the Guide Dogs for the Blind charity are trying to recruit people in Salisbury. You can see contact details via the main Matthew Smith site.
