Taking Ulster-Scots to Italy
In February 2001, a group of Ulster-Scots pipers, dancers and drummers were invited to take part in Italy's biggest street carnival in Viareggio.
We hear from Mark Wilson, Vivien Hewitt, John McIntyre and Gillian Jones who were part of the group.
Dancers from ‘The Bright Lights’ practise their routine in preparation for the carnival - and we meet Ballydonaghy Pipe Band and ‘The Spirit of ’76’; a fife and drum troop.
