Sexual Abuse - A teacher from a primary school in Oxfordshire has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting pupils at the school. The abuse took place between September 2007 and May this year. Neither the teacher nor the school can be identified for legal reasons.

Prison Riots - More than 250 inmates have been moved to other jails after three consecutive nights of rioting at a prison in South Yorkshire. The violence spread to the adult wing at Moorland prison after two nights of trouble at the young offenders institute on the same site.

Mouth Cancer - A recovering Mouth Cancer sufferer from Oxfordshire is campaigning to raise more awareness about the disease. Nationally over five thousand people a year are diagnosed - yet charities warn many people haven't even heard of Mouth Cancer.

Junior Doctors - A review by Oxford University - into the training and supervision of young doctors in England has found what it describes as "alarming evidence" that some staff are being asked to carry out duties beyond their level of competence.

Viking Massacre - Archaeologists discovered a mass grave under an Oxford college in 2008 - but recent tests show their discovery could be even more gruesome. The bodies of 34-38 young men were found under the quadrangle at St John's College by Thames Valley Archaeological Services.

Laser - Staff running the Thames Valley police support helicopter have told 大象传媒 Radio Oxford lives are being put at risk by an increasing number of laser pen attacks on pilots.

Mercers Money - The Royal Bank of Scotland, which is almost wholly owned by the taxpayer, has plunged back into the red but at the same is putting
more money aside for pay and bonuses. And the channel tunnel link has been sold off.
