Living Longer - The pressures on churches
As we continue to live longer, what should the church be doing to assist older people?
Today sees the start of the 大象传媒's Living Longer Campaign. As we take a look at how society's being affected by an increasingly ageing population.
Phil spoke to the Oxfordshire based Chief Executive of Age UK about how the church is playing it's part in looking after older generations. He also spoke to Revd Dr Joanna Collicut who is the Church of England's advisor for the spiritual care of older people in Oxfordshire.
Rev David Tyler popped by to tell Phil about the new church bells at St Mary the Virgin, Freeland near Witney.
No to Christmas adverts - hundreds of magazines and local papers won't be running any Christimas adverts until the beginning of December as their Christian Chairman says he thinks the festival has become an over-commercialised horror-fest. Phil talks to the man himself.
