An inquiry has found former nuclear workers including two employees at Harwell in South Oxfordshire - had body parts removed for medical tests, often without family permission.
Redfern Report - An inquiry has found former nuclear workers including two employees at Harwell in South Oxfordshire - had body parts removed for medical tests, often without their family's permission. The inquiry also found 19 people in Oxford who weren't connected with the nuclear industry had their organs removed for radiation testing without consent. The government today apologised for the distress caused to families and said it should never have happened.
