Simon Hall, the man convicted of murdering a pensioner in Capel St Mary in 2001, has had his appeal rejected. Three judges said there was no reason to doubt the decision of the original jury.
Clare Middle is to become a free school for children aged between 11 and 16. It means the school will not be directly accountable to the local authority. Rachel speaks to the Stour Valley Educational Trust which is for the move and to the National Union of Teachers which is against it.
