Monty Don lifts and divides Perennials
Most perennials benefit from division every two to three years to maintain health, vigour and if for the purposes of propagation, the task can be done more regularly. Spring is a perfect time to divide summer flowering perennials, this week Monty continues his work rejuvenating the borders of the Jewel garden by lifting and dividing established clumps of Acanthus spinosus and Geranium to create a wealth of new plants and reinvigorate the original stock.
