First episode in the new animal welfare series, presented by Rolf Harris and Steve Knight, from RSPCA Harmsworth Animal Hospital. In this episode Lana the Great Dane bears twelve lovely puppies, a budgie is found on a drunk and RSPCA Inspector Mark Martin, rescues a monkey whose been held captive in a private lockup. We also meet hospital senior supervisor Steve Knight, who makes an appeal for the owners of a North London Falcon to come forward to recover their recently-found bird. Lastly, the team follow hospital chief vet, David Grant, on his daily ward rounds. Featured updates include a meet-up with Digger the Dog and owner Eunice Reddish. Also, RSPCA Inspector John Storey provides an update on the case of Brandy the dog, and the team interview Jim Shearer, the Animal Centre Manager.
