Strikes and Connor Wickham sale

Around 750,000 public servants begin a day of strikes over changes to their pensions. We find out how people across Suffolk are affected. Plus reaction to the sale of Connor Wickham to Sunderland.

Around 180 schools and colleges across Suffolk have been affected by strike action today. The Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) and three teaching unions are protesting against changes to their pensions. The prime minister says there's no justification for going on strike.

We hear from the National Union of Teachers in Suffolk and the man in charge of education for Suffolk County Council. Plus a driving instructor explains what the action may mean for learner drivers booked in to take driving tests today. The coastguard tells us it's supporting the strike but still answering emergency calls.

Former Ipswich Town striker Connor Wickham is now a Sunderland player. We ask whether the sale is good business for Town and hear from another former Town stiker, James Scowcroft, who shares his thoughts on the deal.
