12 year old Bethany is an exceptional young girl. Her parents Tracey and Steve are both profoundly deaf and Bethany is a constant help to them - signing, interpreting, and helping them communicate. When Bethany was born she contracted a rare Neuroblastoma cancer,and the only music that would soothe her was the song "Over the Rainbow". Mum Tracey nominated Bethany saying she asks for nothing and deserves the chance to shine on the big stage.

Jodie Prenger was drafted in to help John and she surprised Bethany while dressed as a butterfly! Bethany was then whisked off to meet Danielle Hope, the star of "The Wizard of Oz", who invited her to come to the Tonight's the Night studio and perform the musical's most popular song with her.
