Reading the Riot Act, Team Azerbaijan tour Ipswich and a furniture project's success.
A top-level delegation from Azerbaijan is in Ipswich, looking at the facilities which their country's Olympic athletes will use as a pre-Games training camp.
The 50-strong Azeri team, along with coaches and families, will be based in the town next year before competing at London 2012.
It will be the biggest Olympic camp in East Anglia and follows three years of talks and links forged between Ipswich and Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
An appeal has been launched for a new pavilion for Orford's recreation ground.
So far they've raise 拢3,000 of the 拢180,000 they need. Tonight there is an evening of music, provided by the young people of the village.
Meanwhile Suffolk Water Park near Bramford are hosting a fishing tournament as part of Cancer Research UK's new campaign Cast for Life.
They hope to raise 拢50,000 with tournaments across the UK.
The Ipswich Furniture Project are busier than ever, with more than one and a half thousand people helped so far.
Mick Allison, Chair of the Trustees, says the charity has had another solid year of support.
