Riot reflections, the Twurch of England and...some silence

Reflections on the riots: The bishop, a head teacher and a town pastor give their perspectives. Plus the Twurch of England and some meditation.

A week on from riots across England, the Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, The Right Reverend Nigel Stock, says the break up of 'structured family life' is one of the many reasons why some young people have become 'dislocated' from society.

Head teacher of King Edward VI School in Bury St Edmunds, Geoff Barton, shares his thoughts on how discipline in schools should be managed.

Daniel and Brandon, two teenagers from Hadleigh, give their reaction to the riots and talk about the Porch Project at St Mary's church which keeps them away from trouble.

And giving the view from the streets, Rob talks to Steve Jay from The Hope Church in Ipswich who is also a member of the Town Pastors.

This week, Pope Benedict said that "silence" is what best promotes meditation and listening to God.

Carole Baker from the Self Centre in Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds, reflects on what keeps us calm.

And Rob speaks to The Twurch of England, an online Christian community using social media to shares their ideas and events.
