Wedgwood Collection, Tour of Britain and Joan Walley MP
The fate of the Wedgwood Collection will be decided in the High Court, action from the Stoke-on-Trent stage of the Tour Of Britain, and Joan Walley MP's reaction to plans to scrap her constituency.
On today's show, hear why Tristram Hunt MP is campaigning to stop the Wedgwood Collection being split up and sold to pay for a pension deficit in the Wedgwood Group - the case will be heard in the High Court today.
Joan Walley MP says plans to change constituency boundaries would 'diminish' Stoke-on-Trent. Under the Boundary Commission's plans to reduce the number of MPs from 650 to 600, her constituency of Stoke-on-Trent North would cease to exist, being replaced by a new Kidsgrove & Tunstall seat.
