A waste incinerator has been given the go-ahead in Bedfordshire. John Cartwright, the leader of Aylesbury Vale District Council, talks to Jessica Cooper about how the decision might affect plans for an incinerator in Buckinghamshire.

Plans to improve traffic flow at junction 10 of the M1 have gone on show. More than 拢 26 million is to be spent to change the roundabout at the top of the motorway spur road.

A two year study from the University of Bedfordshire suggests more needs to be done to prevent the sexual exploitation of children. A new inquiry is being started to try to find out how big the problem is.
