The Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich shares his concerns over changes to benefits system, with concern some children could be forced into "severe poverty and homelessness".

The Right Reverend Nigel Stock is one of 18 Church of England bishops have signed an open letter, criticising the government's proposed welfare reforms.

In the letter published in the Observer, the bishops express concerns about plans to limit the amount that any household can claim in benefits to 500 pounds a week.
