Should you get child beneft if you are comfortable financially?

A Kent MP says it is time to rethink the government's reforms of child benefit. On his own blog Mark Reckless MP for Rochester and Strood says the policy is becoming toxic, he says it was rushed through, that it is unfair and so unpopular that many Conservatives Mps may well vote against it.

Any family with one earner on more than 拢43,000 loses child benefit, but that obviously means if you both work and earn 拢40,000, your household income is 拢80,000 you still get it. Is that fair?
