Priest-to-be – Inside Allen Hall Seminary Westminster
John Millar is a fifth year student at Allen Hall, one of Britain's only three remaining Roman Catholic seminaries. He has felt called to give his whole life to God since Sixth Form and entered seminary a year after leaving school. The six years of "formation" that it takes to become a Catholic priest involve a wide range of studies, from the spiritual to the pastoral, including the art of giving a good sermon. Here John Millar practises a wedding homily in front of the seminary's Vice Rector, Father Roger Taylor.
