Petrol prices are at all time high across the South East, the national average is now 137.44p a litre for unleaded. At one Kent petrol station this morning unleaded is nearly 143p a litre and diesel is 148p

Have you cut back on journeys or stopped using your car or van altogether?

It will now cost you nearly 拢70 to fill up a typical 50-litre tank, that is 拢12 more for every tank of fuel than two years ago.

The AA has done a survey which suggests 75% of us are either cutting back on journeys or reducing spending on other things so we can keep using the car. Does that sound like you?
