Lowestoft businessman reacts to idea for third river crossing

Lowestoft businessman Danny Steel tells us what he thinks of the latest idea for a third river crossing for the town.

In the news hour from 5pm, a businessman who grew up in Lowestoft has come up with his own idea to try to solve the town's transport problems and provide flood protection too. Peter Colby's drawn up plans for a 拢30m third river crossing. He says it really can work if people and local businesses support him. It would create a tidal barrage and roadway based on similar ones in Holland. Danny Steel is a Lowestoft businessman and he's chairman of the town's High Street Traders Association. He gives Lesley his thoughts on the plans.
Suffolk Police hope a new DVD will highlight the need to take more care on our roads. 14 people have died as a result of collisions in the county so far this year and 6 of those were motorcyclists. John's Story shows the consequences of motorcyclist John Warren's accident two years ago which put him in hospital for three months. Lesley has been talking to Sergeant Paul Ward.
