The James Paget Hospital in Gorleston is back on track. The CQC had given warnings over the last year about nutrition, care plans and patient records.

In the news hour from 5pm, the James Paget Hospital has been given a clean bill of health by the Care Quality Commission. The hospital which had been criticised over standards of care and dignity, as well as record keeping, is now said to be achieving targets. Our reporter Andrew Turner spoke to their Director of Nursing Tina Cookson.

The coffee chain Costa are celebrating after winning their planning battle to set up a shop in Southwold. Many residents in the historic coastal town were furious when it emerged that the retailer had put in an application to open in the High Street. The proposals were originally thrown out two months ago but Costa put in an appeal and the decision was reversed at a heated council meeting last night. We hear from a tea shop owner, the Southwold and Reydon Society and from Guy Mitchell who's chairman of the Southwold and district Chamber Of Commerce.

Buckingham Palace says the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, has been taken to hospital as a precautionary measure. A spokeswoman says he's been admitted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary while staying at Balmoral with the Queen. Lesley has more.
