How much fuel does an aeroplane need? (pt 3/5)
A flight to Barbados requires nearly 45 tonnes of fuel. This is pumped on to the plane by volume - so how do we calculate weight from volume? This calculation is explained and it is shown how the fuel is stored in the wings, and how the plane must be balanced before take-off.
