'A View from the Bridge' - Act 2 - the three kisses scene (pt 2/2)
A dramatised scene from Arthur Miller's 'A View from the Bridge'. This is a shocking scene, where the tenderness of love is parodied in a scene of violence, which hints at rape and incest. The sense of theatre is shown in the use of contrast of action and dialogue. Action equals Eddie; dialogue Rodolpho. This is where the audience sees basic human instincts let loose and we can see the idea of Eddie as the Greek protagonist in action.
