The Paralympic Flame in Suffolk and a hero schoolboy

Rachel Sloane sits in for Rob Dunger on the breakfast programme today, hearing about the arrival of the Paralympic Flame in Suffolk and what happens to it next, as well as finding out about a hero schoolboy from Stowmarket.

Suffolk's part of the Paralympic Flame arrived in the county on Friday, and there is a look back at events in Needham Market to celebrate.

Rachel also hears about two of the places the Flame is due to visit in Suffolk on Saturday - the Active Waveney Disability Sport Forum in Lowestoft, and Snape Maltings, where the Flame is arriving to tie in with a concert from the British Paraorchestra.

Following on from the Olympics, there is news of a major rally organised by Mildenhall Cycling Club, where gold medallist Victoria Pendleton was a member.

15-year-old Rhys Joseland from Stowmarket talks about how he intervened in a case of domestic violence on his way to school, and is now to get a bravery award.

Rachel's business guest is Cathy Shelbourne from Sea Shell Communications. As well talking about her work, she looks through the day's papers, including how Middle England's love of a certain type of cooker seems to have cooled.

There is a look ahead to Ipswich Town's away game at Blackpool.

And the gardening phone-in features calls about fuchsias, tomatoes and a kiwi tree.
