Rachel Sloane sits in for Rob Dunger on the breakfast programme today, hearing more about the Paralympic Flame's journey around Suffolk, as well as finding out how a 大象传媒 documentary's given a boost to a Suffolk addiction charity, and reflecting on the death of the first man on the moon.
The weekend of celebrations for the Paralympic Flame continues. There is a look back at the event at the East Anglian Sailing Trust at Levington Marina on Saturday, and a look ahead to the Flame's arrival at Exning Wheelchair Tennis Club on Sunday.
Suffolk drug rehabilitation charity Focus 12 says it has had one of the busiest weeks it has ever had, following the 大象传媒 Three documentary Russell Brand: From Addiction to Recovery. It has received a donation of more than 拢100,000, but it has also seen many more people coming forward for help.
Following the announcement of the death of Neil Armstrong, Rachel looks back at his life. And her paper reviewer, Simon Knott from the Suffolk Churches website, reflects on newspaper coverage of the astronaut. He also brings us his Thought For The Day.
Rachel's been finding out about the work of parish nurses. The first paid ecumenical scheme in the UK was set up in Walton near Felixstowe, and they are about to advertise for another nurse.
