Global warming - polar ice cap evidence
A review of changes in the seasonal sea ice cover in the Arctic over the past 30 years in relation to changes in the average annual temperatures of the area, using satellite images and temperature graphs. This clip looks at the evidence from oxygen isotopes in ice cores from Antarctica going back 11,500 to 135,000 years to illustrate global warming.
